The entire garden was cleared, apart from some planting and a block paving area.
New raised railway sleeper flower beds were installed - these will also act as seating with built-in benches and seating.
Once the beds were finished, premium topsoil was added to allow for new planting. The planting scheme was designed to be low maintenance but still give interest throughout the year.
All the wood used was sanded down and any rough corners were rounded off.
Some sandstone paving was added to allow for hard standing as the existing artificial turf had been removed.
The remembrance garden really added a different dimension to the school grounds.

The team worked very hard to have the project completed during half term before the students returned. It was a well-designed garden which we hope the students will enjoy! The project was brought in on time and within budget.
