Beth's Garden, Walthamstow

The existing fencing was retained where possible. However it was replaced at the rear with new custom-built paneling installed. This was painted black including gravel boards and posts. The black background provides an intense backdrop for any planting.

The existing sheds and greenhouses were removed to open up the space at the rear of the garden. This allowed for the new lawn to be almost doubled in size, creating a great place for the client's children to play!

Raised railway sleeper flower beds with varying tiers and heights were then installed throughout. We also managed to save the old railway sleepers already within the garden and utilised them to create new raised beds at the rear. These flower beds were then planted with a wide variety of plants that would increase bees and butterflies during the spring and summer months, creating a healthy garden.
